Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password, or your sign-in details if you use a social sign-in.
• What you create: the text prompts, scripts, pictures, audio and video you upload or generate, and the settings you choose.
• Documents you check: if you use Writing Check, the text of the document and its report. We keep it only so you can read the report again, and you can delete it at any time. We do not add it to any database that other people can search or compare against.
• Payment records: what you bought, the amount, the date and a reference from the payment provider. We never see or store your full card number; card and wallet details go directly to the payment provider.
• Usage and device data: pages viewed, buttons clicked, the type of device, browser and operating system, the language, and the country or city your connection appears to come from. We do not store your IP address in our analytics. A random visitor ID is kept in your browser to count visits.
• Messages you send us through the contact form or support inbox.

How we use it

• To run your account, make what you ask for, charge and refund credits, and send receipts and service emails.
• To keep the service safe, prevent abuse and fraud, and fix problems.
• To understand which pages and tools are useful so we can improve them.
• To show advertising on our public pages, where you allow it (see Cookies and advertising).
• To answer your questions and requests.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run Truecode Cloud, and only what they need:

• AI providers that generate your results. Your prompts and any pictures, audio or video you submit are sent to them to produce the output. These include Atlas Cloud, WaveSpeed, ElevenLabs and xAI. For Writing Check, the text you check is sent to xAI for proofreading and to Winston AI for the plagiarism and AI-content checks.
• Payment providers such as Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe and PayPal, which process your payment under their own privacy policies.
• Hosting, storage, email and security providers (for example Vercel and Cloudflare).
• Advertising and analytics partners such as Google and Meta, only on public pages and only as described below.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information

We do not sell your account details or your creations. We do not use your private creations to advertise to other people.

Cookies and advertising

We use a small amount of browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your theme and settings, and count visits. Where analytics or advertising tags are enabled, we ask for your choice through the cookie banner on public pages, and you can change it at any time with the cookie settings link in the footer.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) or aboutads.info. Ads are never shown inside the signed-in dashboard.

Our Meta Pixel, if enabled, helps us measure how well our own adverts work. You can control it through the cookie banner and your Facebook ad settings.

How long we keep information

We keep account information while your account is open. Payment records are kept as long as the law and our accounting require. Generated files may expire or be removed after a period, so download what you want to keep. You can ask us to delete your account and the content linked to it by writing to support@truecodecloud.com, and we will do so unless we must keep something for legal reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the Nigeria Data Protection Act and, for visitors in Europe or the UK, the GDPR), you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to certain uses, or take a copy. Write to support@truecodecloud.com and we will reply within a reasonable time.

Security

We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Children

Truecode Cloud is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we make important changes we will update the date above and, where it matters, tell you by email or on the site.
